Kristin Kest of Kest Pottery is a professional science illustrator and brings 30 years of drawing and painting experience into her ceramics work. An avid sculptor, Kest always kept her hands in clay, often augmenting her science research with clay maquettes for study. In 2015, a benefactor and friend gifted her a kiln and Kest began to incorporate a ceramics practice into her overall artist's exploration. Today, Kest's Pottery studio offers the curious visitor a wide array of funky and utilitarian monsterpots, mugs, bas-reliefs, tiles, and gargoyles.

Kest Pottery offers functional items such as mugs, pots, and other vessels, but also gargoyles, bas-reliefs, and tiles. There is always something new to find in her studio.
